There are many ways to configure the Big 3's modern muscle, but this is the right one.

Camaro Turbo-4 1LE w/6-speed manual in “Crush” (I’ll just pretend it’s called Hugger Orange)

Contrary to the feelings of many others, I really like the 2019 refreshed 4 and 6 cylinder Camaros. The new grille does a good job of referencing the ‘68 RS cars. The SS front fascia is an absolute train wreck though, if you could get this front end on an SS 1LE , that’d be the car to have.

Honorable mention goes to the ZL1 1LE, which I have first hand experience losing to at A utoX and   which is still the old body style.

I really do like the 2019 Camaro tho.

Next up the Challenger R/T Scat Pack with the T/A package and 6-speed manual in Plum Crazy Purple (Yellow Jacket is also acceptable).

If that’s not just the perfect mixture of old school cool and modern flare, then I don’t know what is.

Finally, even though it retains the S550.1 front end, the GT350R in Leadfoot Grey is still the coolest Mustang.

The Bullitt Mustang had a shot at being awesome, Dark Highland Green Metallic is a great color and the minimalist chrome rimmed grille look great. However, the incredibly clunky BUL LITT badging all over the car ruins it. Seriously, why did you but that dinner plate sized crosshair on the trunk panel Ford?!

Anyway, yeah, the GT350R is still the king.

Hono rable mention in the Mustangs goes to the GT Performance Pack 2 in “Orange Fury”, which is the coolest S550.2 Mustang because of the Bullitt mess:

This isn’t hard - you option them all this way;

- biggest engine

- highest pedal count

- bestest suspension

Anything different is a wrong opinion

they are fixing that, Chevy is already getting another nose into production that is more in line with the other cars. All the SS cars at SEMA had it and even the rebody of the Xfinity car in NASCAR has the updated nose.  Here is the new SS nose:

The 4/6 nose still looks better than that IMO . All they’ve done there is paint the crossbar and moved the badge.

My only wish is that Dodge could actually bring the weight down enough to make the T/A cars actually trackable.

I’d drive that thing in a heartbeat though.

The new 8-speed is a spectacular transmission. In track mode it cracks off shifts like a manual, only quicker and more precise.

I agree in the lower trims, such as the 392, I would probably enjoy the manual, but in the top trim, the auto is the way to go if you actually plan on pushing the car.

I think all of the good autos are quicker than manuals now, but I would just enjoy the manual more.  392/6 speed would be perfect - doesn’t get more ‘Murican than RWD, big NA V8, and a manual transmission.

I posted about the challenger a few days ago. My first want was the exact same configuration you have:  Plum Crazy T/A with three pedals. I now crave the Scat Pack with the Widebody kit. I’ll take it in either Plum, or F8 Green.

does make a world of difference without a huge heap of retooling. Though now the early 19's will be worth a lot of money someday as they are such short production.
